Rentals

The Reef Kite + Surf center has the following requirements for kite rentals because of the risks to  inexperienced users. This center has very high standards and an excellent safety record.

Those who wish to rent kite equipment must have at least Level 3 proficiency and satisfy the following conditions:

1. Good health
2. Excellent swimmer
3. Ability to return to starting point at all times (Level 5)
4. Ability to sail upwind
5. Waterstart
6. Positioning and relaunch of kite after falling into the water

When you rent kite equipment, you must sign these conditions. The on-site kite instructor will test your kiting ability in a check hour. If he/she discovers that your kiting skills do not meet the above criteria, the rental can be converted into a course.
